The Mares Rover 15X Regulator is a lightweight and reliable diving companion, weighing just 35.45 oz. (1,107 g) with the hose. This high-performing regulator combines the Mares 15X 1st-stage and Rover 2nd-stage for a seamless underwater experience.

The 1st-stage regulator is a balanced diaphragm design made of sandblasted chrome-plated marine brass. This environmentally sealed design prevents water from entering the mechanism, keeping contaminants like salt, sand, and chlorine at bay. As a result, the regulator maintains its performance without succumbing to corrosion or mineral deposits.

Equipped with Advanced Coating Technology (A.C.T.), the Instinct 15X ensures optimal performance, safety, and reliability. Its valve features a hard polyurethane (PU) coating with a soft PU seal, making it 600% more durable than its predecessor. The tri-material design (brass, soft PU, and “heavy-duty” PU) offers unparalleled durability.

The dynamic flow control (DFC) system in the 1st-stage regulator minimizes pressure drop during inhalation, guaranteeing a stable air flow in even the most challenging conditions. It also includes 4 LP and 2 HP ports for attaching pressure gauges or air-integrated consoles.

The 2nd-stage regulator, made of techno-polymer, delivers superior performance with Mares’ patented Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) system. This creates a swirling vortex that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, ensuring smooth and easy breathing at any depth.

In addition, the Fluid Dynamic Deflector directs the airflow from the bypass tube to the mouthpiece for natural and effortless breathing. The Rover 15X features a 3/8″ threaded 31.5″ (80cm) hose and is Nitrox ready up to 40% oxygen straight out of the box.
