Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures Course
The TDI Advanced Nitrox Course & Decompression Procedures course qualifies divers to use Enriched Air Nitrox from EAN 21 through 100% oxygen and dive to a maximum depth of 40 metres/150 feet. These courses are completed in a minimum of two weekends.
Weekend (1) will focus on:
- Equipment prep and configurations
- Technical dive planning and contingency planning
- Pre dive process, safety checks, bubble checks, descents & ascents when diving with a group
- Dive buddy / self-awareness
- Hand signals / light signals
- Kicks
- Buoyancy / Trim
- SAC Rates
- Underwater equipment emergencies and how to quickly resolve these problems underwater
- Gas switching
- SMB / Lift bag deployment

Weekend (2) will focus on:
- Technical dive planning
- Executing planned decompression dives with your team
- Resolving problems that occur underwater

- 25 logged dives
- Current DAN Insurance
- Intro to tech, sidemount specialty, or previous experience diving twin cylinders
